What purpose does this textboard serve to accomplish? There is even a "no images" option on wizchan. This is pointless.

The same could be said about life.

I think of it as an experimental form of chemo. The cancer's just about gone, but so's the patient.

A "no images" option doesn't make it a textboard, just a neutered imageboard. There are so few decent textboards left.

It has potential. We just need more people to make threads and posts, and it will become infinitely superior to the image board. For some reason people are just too scared. I guess they feel naked without access to their image macros.

I'm just not very good at coming up with interesting topics to discuss. That and the topics that I do discuss are generally better with images as they help with explanations.

>>3 I did think of it like that, but then I saw that the treatment was unsuccessful, that the cancer is as alive as ever, however, with less of the patients natural protectors in place, thus rendering the experience worse than originally.

One thing cancerboard users love doing is making the entire point of their post rely on an image or video embed and not even give the image or video a proper filename or context in the post (or w/ youtube embeds there's no title given in text except the URL and from the video engine). If you dispell images, very, very often the site will become unreadable.

Porto Ricans are already US citizens, fool.

And don't forget how many blank posts w/ video or images, and image dump threads attract like 20-40% of day-to-day postings.
