I have successfully replaced my addiction for sugary soft drinks with brewed tea. It didn't take too long, it feels really good drinking hot tea. I bought an electric water boiler and I brew hot tea to drink everyday now. Drinking tea makes me so much more relaxed.

How are you dealing with your addictions?

Coffee is much better.

Keep falling back into the rut. Actually had briefly replaced mine with tea too, sister left tons of tea here so I drank it like a madman for a week. Binge drinking other things is the only way I can replace the addiction. Think it was the first time I made tea too.

Coffee is good too, but had to stop that for the reason above. I will drink multiple pots of coffee in a single day and end up spending the night fearing that my heart is going to explode.

I guess soda's are my addiction in terms of drinks. Pepsi, Sprite, Coca-cola... it doesn't pass a day without me drinking one of these.

I was addicted to eating. Literally whatever was around.
Eventually I just bought tons of raw greens and snacked on those. It was gross for a while but I forced myself to do it and it allowed me to just keep eating without getting fat. I lost 70 pounds just by doing this. Withdraws from salt fat and sugar the first few weeks were a bitch, though.

Today I was masturbating. I thought about why I was doing this when I know it won't do anything good for me or provide fulfillment for my starved spirit. It was clear then. I began repeating "masturbation is self-infatuation" and then went and did things I'm glad to have done.

Coconut oil coffee. That one guy on the main site talked about it. I tried it out and it's really tasty but I kept putting more and more coconut oil into my drink and instead of having the recommended 1 cup, I have usually 3 or 4 every day.
One tablespoon of coconut oil contains 64% of your daily saturated fat serving. My tablespoons aren't melted-oil, so it'd probably say I take in 70-75% of my daily saturated fat for every 1 cup of coffee.

I have not noticed any adverse effects yet, but apparently taking in too much saturated fat makes your blood pressure or something get really high and your chances of a heart-related condition go up a lot. My father has a similar issue so genetically I'm probably not too good either. I probably won't stop, but I've been trying to only take in 2 cups a day currently and avoid meat or other foods with a large amount of saturated fat.

Coconut oil is harmless, don't worry. Also you mean Cholesterol.

I'm addicted to depressingly comfy music like "Architects - All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us." In addition to depressing anime, movies, and research topics.

Chai tea.. It would be great to drink on an oftentimes basis. The same cup gets used for years without being washed, with the coffee, but the milk and the sugar makes mealy stains that must be washed each week

Okay, I guess I'll be the first one to say drugs then. Only weed though, and by god being addicted to weed is so much better than the alternative. I should know I've done both and I much prefer to live as a weed addict. My quality of life is much better.

The only problems come when I can't take T breaks and it becomes less effective but then I still can't stop because I can still get high if I just do large amounts. Then I end up spending all my money. I'm about to run out of weed and I'm all out of money from my last little stint as a wage slave. I'm not sure I will survive running out tbh. Before I got my medical card I was really on the verge of suicide in the way where it was a struggle to resist the impulse. I would spend literally all day doing nothing else but thinking about suicide and going through various scenarios in my mind. With weed I can live life as an internet addict in peace as long as my parents continue to support me.
